Good News!

Employees who did not complete a wellness program between January 2009 and September 2009, have a second chance to participate in a program to earn the lower copays, deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums (Enhanced Benefit) for the 2010 plan year.  Remember, you also need to complete the on-line health assessment during Open Enrollment.   Spouses, if covered on your plan, must participate in a program and take the on-line health assessment for the family to earn the lower copays, deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums in 2010.

On 10/1/2009, the federal government issued new regulations regarding the collection of genetic information under the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA). These regulations clarify that genetic information includes family medical history. In response, HealthPartners has removed questions about family health history from the health assessment.  As a result of this unique situation, you have another opportunity to participate in a program. To take advantage of this opportunity, you must contact HealthPartners by October 30, 2009.  You need to complete a program by December 31, 2009.
